Life Story
Irene Cox Body was born on February 10, 1906, in Newton County, Mississippi, to Lawyer Cox (1880-1964) and Sarah Cox (1882-?). She attended school and completed the seventh grade in elementary school. As a teenager, she married Earnest Body (1905-1983), and her primary occupation was managing the household.
She passed away on August 6, 2003, and was laid to rest beside her husband at the cemetery of Green Grove M.B. Church.
