Life Story

Jessica Laine Cager was born on April 27, 1986, to Lavell Cager and Wortly Inez Evans Cager. Growing up in Union, Mississippi, she was greatly influenced by the close-knit community and the rich cultural heritage of her surroundings. Her childhood was filled with experiences that nurtured her love for music and the arts, leading her to attend East Central Community College, where she not only excelled academically but also became an active member of the college choir, showcasing her vocal talents and passion for performance. Tragically, her promising life was cut short when she lost her life in a car accident at the age of 24 on Sunday, October 17, 2010, in Neshoba County, Mississippi. The sudden loss of Jessica left an indelible mark on her family, friends, and the community, who remember her as a vibrant soul with dreams and aspirations yet to be fulfilled.
