Obituary
Mr. Keegan Romero DeJuan’ Robinson was born on March 13, 1991, in Meridian, Mississippi, to his parents, Pastor Anthony and Elect Lady Stephanie Robinson. God called our firstborn home to “rest easy” on May 22, 2025 at Oschner-Laird Hospital in Union, Mississippi. Keegan gave his life at the age of four at his father’s Installation service at the Mount Charity Missionary Baptist Church to become a member at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Denmark.
K’Rob started playing drums at four, sitting on his father’s lap and tearing up church fans for his sticks. He graduated from Newton High School in 2009. He was in the Newton High School band, where he energetically played Quads. He worked with his uncle, Calvin “Uncle Bubba” Evans, at Evans’ Mobile Home Services until his health declined.
Our Son was the life of every party, whether in the world or the church. Trust us, he loved the Lord and the Gospel with all his mind, heart, and spirit. He lived and breathed singing Zion songs to glorify God. Keegan loved people, and people loved “our boy.” He loved horses, a good horse ride, and being a part of the Solo Riders Club, where they affectionately called him “Hot Rod.”
Our Son leaves to mourn: his sweet angel and daughter, Kaitlyn Aa’Keili (Rudy) Robinson; devoted and loving father and mother, Pastor Anthony and Elect Lady Stephanie Robinson; little sister, K’Joi Robinson; sweet nieces, Harper Ariah Gooden and Londyn Grace Ford; brothers, Drill Sergeant Justus Kidd, Jordan (Eariel) Hillie, Jemariaus (Tottiana) Ford, and SPC Jahmal Taylor; sisters, Aamagine Taylor and PFC Te’Quiera Moppins; grandparents are Bobby Jean Price and Jacqueline Robinson. His aunts are Kizzy Kidd, Brandy (Edward) Campbell, Danielle Walker, Daphne Davis, Vinessa (Gary) Turner, Yolanda “Cookie” Nettles, DaToya (James) Wilson, Cassandra McKinstry, and Virginia Robinson. His uncles are Nicholas “Jalbo” Robinson and Jeremy Walker. His great-aunts are, Dorothy Evans, Laura Thigpen, Nadene (Ralph) Arrington, Eunice Robinson, Mary Robinson, Lovie Robinson, Linda Robinson, and Inez (Levelle) Cager, and Sammie Jean (Johnny) Jones; great uncles, Calvin (Delois) Evans, Julius Evans, Dewayne Evans, and Grover Wheaton; special cousins, Christopher Moore, Minister Joe Nathan Moore, Johnny Jones II, Daylan Wilson, James Wilson, Jr., Theddiaus Robinson, Billye Nicholson, Jerdarius “Quik” Irby, Miata Evans, Lezarius “Zay” Lay, NiZayvion Robinson, Teanna “Tee” Moore, Jessica Moore, Tomya Robinson, Glenn Bender, Jr., Ambrose Bender, Matthew, and Devante Tingle, and Derrick Hillie; special friend, the mother of his child, Brandi Thompson; bonus families are the Nichols and Lindsey Family, the Ricks Family, and Ms. Vera Walker; bonus brother, Reverend William Flowers; the best group on this side of Heaven, The Appointed Angels whom he loved very much; and a host of other family members, cousins, and friends who loved him just as much.
Heaven is a beautiful place with those who preceded him in death, his favorite grandpaw in the world, Mr. George Lee Robinson, Jr.; cool grandfather, Mr. Kenneth Ray Kidd; loving and devoted grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Evans Kidd; bonus grandmother, Ms. Ruby Nell Pugh; great-grandparents, Mr. Andy and Mary Hattie Kidd, Ms. Mattie Mae Evans, Mr. Huey, and Virginia Evans; special cousin, Delesleion Davis, and Sidney Robinson; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Our baby loved people, and he loved all of you. To all his friends, he loved you, and we love you too. Whatever you did in his life to make him smile, we love you for that! Keegan loved life and made the best of it, whether good, bad, or indifferent. He gave life the best shot he had, as he did for the Lord. He gave God the best of himself every time he opened his mouth with his anointed voice and gift of playing drums that were given to him by GOD.
Therefore, we have no regrets because we know he was saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. WE LOVED HIM, BUT GOD LOVED HIM BEST! So today, we celebrate His Life! His Love! His Victory! We trust God, and we trust this process. “Rest Easy, Our Boy, KEEGAN.”
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
