Early Life
James Willis Wesley was born on November 18, 1942, in Newton County, Mississippi. He was the son of Joe Wesley and Bertha L. Walker Wesley, and a member of a large and deeply rooted family whose history extends across the Evans, Walker, and Wesley lineages.
