Henry James Hickmon, Jr. was born on July 27, 1934, in Newton County, Mississippi, to Henry James Hickmon, Sr. (c. 1907–1986) and Lettie B. Evans Hickmon (1917–1987). He grew up as part of a large extended family rooted in the St. John and Union Grove church communities.
Death & Burial
Henry James Hickmon, Jr. passed away at a young age on January 15, 1951, at just 16 years old. He was laid to rest at St. John M.B. Church Graveyard in Newton County, Mississippi.
