Education
Marquise attended Newton Municipal School District schools and was a student at Newton High School, where he distinguished himself both academically and athletically. He was consistently listed on the honor roll, reflecting his commitment to his studies alongside his demanding athletic schedule.
He also participated in the Newton Career Center Educator’s Rising Chapter, where he placed third in the Job Interview category at the 2021 virtual state conference—an achievement that reflected his professionalism, preparation, and leadership potential at an early age.

Athletics and Leadership
Marquise was a multi-sport athlete for the Newton High School Tigers, excelling in football, track and field, and baseball. Coaches and school officials consistently described him as a disciplined competitor, a team leader, and a student who set an example for others.
In football, he was a key contributor on both offense and defense, recording tackles, pass breakups, and critical plays during the 2021 season. In track and field, he was part of relay teams that advanced to postseason competition, helping Newton qualify athletes for the Class 2A state meet.
