Life Story
Aaron Autman was born around 1854 to John Autman and Mandy Autman. His wife was named Hannah. He worked as a farmer, and together they had three children who were listed on the 1900 census as follows:
- Lela Autman (1885-?)
- Jane Autman (1888-?)
- Thomas Autman (1889-?)
Aaron’s wife preceded him in death. There is no death certificate as she passed away before the law mandated the documentation of death certificates. Aaron died on November 20, 1922, and was laid to rest by neighbors at Pennington Cemetery. The cause of his death remains unknown. He was approximately 68 years old.
