Life Story
Ether Amos was born around October 1894 in Dixon, Neshoba County, to Ike Amos (1853-1922) and Arena Boler (1863-?). Ether worked as a farmer and was married to Eliza Slaughter. The couple had one child, who was:
- Clifton Amos (1913-1915)
Tragically, Ether passed away around the age of 25 on August 21, 1914, from an outbreak of tuberculosis that had also claimed his son’s life.
