Life Story
Lillie Evans Anderson was born around 1901. Her parents are currently unknown. She married Eric C. Anderson at the age of eighteen and worked as a farm laborer and housekeeper. Lillie and Eric had two children, who are as follows:
- Perry Anderson (1921-?)
- Linda Mary Anderson Bell (1945-1998)
Lillie passed away on May 10, 1991, at approximately 89 years old at Rush Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Funeral services took place at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Tingle officiating. She was interred in the church cemetery. Lillie is survived by her daughter, Mary Linda Bell, of Hickory, MS.
