Life Story
Maud Atkins, whose last name is also spelled Adkins, was born in 1910 in Newton County, Mississippi, to Grant Atkins (1869-?) and Ida Cole (1872-?). Tragically, she passed away as a child at about eight years old and was interred at Union Chapel graveyard. The cause of death is likely pneumonia. Rev. Jesse Adkins is the informant on the death certificate.
