Grover Davis Walker Jr. was born on December 3, 1948, to Grover Davis Walker (1916-1973) and Beatrice Chapman Walker (1933-2012). He was a lifelong resident of Newton, Newton County, Mississippi.
Mr. Walker passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at his residence at the age of 68.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Anthony Robinson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Clark Memorial Funeral Home, LLC. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church.
