Birth and Family
James Moore was born on January 1, 1928, in Eastabuchie, Jones County, Mississippi. He was the son of Smith “Jig” Moore (1901–1989) and Eva Haney Moore (1909–1985).
Death
James passed away on January 11, 1929, at just one year of age. His death was caused by influenza and pneumonia, illnesses that were especially deadly to infants and young children during this period due to limited medical care and treatment options.
Burial
He was laid to rest at Union Chapel Methodist Church graveyard, where he rests among family members and generations connected through faith and shared community history.
